Oil Sands Tech Theatre Speakers

Wes Sopko is the General Manager for General Energy Recovery Inc. (GERI). GERI has designed a zero emissions Direct Contact Steam Generator for enhancing heavy oil production. Prior to joining GERI he worked professionally as a Facility Superintendent of Construction for OMERS Energy inc. and Southward Energy where he held the position of Facility Superintendent and Production Superintendent. He has also worked at Union Pacific Resources and Norcen Energy where he held positions of Construction Superintendent after graduating from Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.
