Steve Barker

Steve has been involved in the Automation Industry for the past 24 years and the Oil and Gas industry for the past 27 years.  Steve Holds a Bachelor’s of Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Bristol in England and is a Professional Engineer here in the province of Alberta.  Steve currently co-manages the Digital Transformation Business Group at Spartan Controls. Steve’s focus is primarily on the Operational Technology Environment including network design and deployment, Cybersecurity as well as integrating Operational Technology software solutions to connect Systems, Solutions and Equipment to Cloud or Physical IT environments.  Delivering Safe, Secure, Robust and Reliable Data to applications and Users is the model Steve and his team follow every day.  Steve's Digital Foundations team at Spartan Controls has the expertise and experience to help.
