Rasel has over 20 years of experience in the public and energy sector. His background focused on business strategy and public policy development, operational and organizational effectiveness and complex stakeholder engagement in both the oil & gas industry and public sector. He is a recognized expert in the field of municipal and industrial water and wastewater treatment, and cumulative effects management. His work has influenced provincial and federal legislation and contributed to the development of technology for municipal and industrial wastewater release to the environment. His expertise with regulatory and government initiatives related to water and environment provides him with extensive knowledge that is applicable to projects of all sizes. He has served on multiple Boards and advisory panels to address complex issues. Rasel led the United Way Campaign for the Alberta Energy Regulator in 2015. Rasel enjoys coaching and mentoring his fellow professional engineers to give back to his professional society. Rasel is known for his ability to build and manage relationships that allow for shared development of innovative solutions, effective leadership of change and accountability for delivering results.
