Peter Tauvers is responsible for the project management of developing strategic areas of Naftogaz activities aimed at increasing the company's and Ukraine's hydrocarbon resource base. Peter has over 30 years of experience in the world's largest Oil & Gas companies, including Shell divisions in USA, Ukraine, Malaysia, South Africa and Netherlands. His responsibilities included Field & Regional Geology, Structural Geology / Salt Tectonics, Play-Based Exploration (PBE), 2D and 3D seismic interpretation, Drill site Maturation, Well Operations and Evaluation, Unconventional Gas Exploration, Deepwater depositional systems, CSEM acquisition and inversion, Petrel Static Model.

Peter studied at The University of Texas at Austin (USA), University of Vermont (USA) and has a PhD in Geology.
