Oleg Tolmachev is in charge of managing and developing the business of hydrocarbons production in Naftogaz Group. In particular, he is responsible for promoting new ambitious projects, engaging international partners and investors to their implementation.

Oleg Tolmachev headed high-tech projects for the development of large fields in North America with gas and gas condensate deposits from both traditional reservoirs (East Texas Deep Bossier) and tight formations (Utica, Haynesville, Barnett, Marcellus, GranWash). His responsibilities included increasing project economic efficiency, building and managing multifunctional teams (geology, development, drilling, production, HC preparation and processing).

Oleg Tolmachev graduated from Oklahoma State University in the specialty Petroleum Engineering in the USA. Then he was working for gas producing companies in the United States such as BP America, Chesapeake Energy, EnCana Oil & Gas USA, Eclipse Resources and Montage Resources, where he held positions as Production and Completion Engineer, Vice-President and Senior Vice-President, Executive Vice-Pesident and Operational Director.
