2022 Strategic Program Speakers

Matt Foder has over 30 years of experience in the energy industry, broadly spanning the upstream, midstream, downstream and power generation segments. As Weatherford’s Senior Vice President of Innovation & New Energy, Mr. Foder is responsible for driving technical innovation in its products and services, including ownership of the company’s digital and energy transition strategies. He previously spent 5 years as Exterran’s Vice President of Products, Engineering & Operations, leading their Operations, Engineering, Product Strategy and Quality functions while also running the Aftermarket business.

Prior to Exterran, Matt spent 6 years at GE leading Product Management in the Downstream Products & Services business and also led North American Sales for Power Generation Equipment & Services. He also spent 20 years prior to this at Air Products and Chemicals Inc. in various commercial, business management and technical roles.

Matt earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University and a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University.  He is a registered Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
