2022 Strategic Program Speakers

Bryan Sralla leads the exploration program for Naftogaz Group’s daughter company Ukrgasvydobuvannya (UGV) where he is focused on the search and discovery of new conventional and unconventional gas resources across Ukraine.

Prior to joining the company in 2021, Mr. Sralla served as Managing Director for Vermilion Energy’s Central and Eastern European Business Unit, which he founded in 2015, opening new offices in Budapest, Hungary and Zagreb, Croatia, helping Vermilion make several new gas discoveries during his tenure. Prior to Vermilion, Mr. Sralla held various senior geoscience roles with XTO and ExxonMobil (2006-2015) where he played a leading role in the early discovery and delineation of the Woodford horizontal play across the Ardmore and Marietta Basins of Southern Oklahoma. Mr. Sralla also served as a senior geoscience advisor in ExxonMobil’s Europe/Caspian/Russia New Ventures team (2011-2014) based in the United Kingdom before returning to the United States as a lead geoscientist for North American exploration, focusing heavily on Western Canada. From 1993-2006, Mr. Sralla worked as a geologist for several USA companies including Hewitt Mineral Corporation, Coho Energy, Kobodi Oil and Gas and Noble Energy.

Mr. Sralla holds a Bachelor of Science degree in geology from Baylor University (1993). In 2010 he was awarded top technical presentation by the Oklahoma City Geophysical Society for his work on the structural geology of the Ancestral Rocky Mountains region.
