Mike Lakin

A geology graduate from Cardiff University 1984, after which he worked in E&P through the next 5 years of low oil price for independent oil and gas companies (including Carless, Kelt & Perenco) involved in the UK, Europe and West Africa. From 1989, Mike joined Petresearch as a geologist specialising in international third-party project marketing activities, became the group General Manager, until leaving to establish Envoi Limited at the end of 1999 with whom he remains MD.

Envoi Limited is a specialist independent Acquisition & Divestment (A&D) advisory group based in London, established to assist international oil and gas industry companies manage their international E&P portfolios and facilitating the ‘buying and selling’ of international upstream opportunities.
